a picture they say paints a thousand words, i say an unedited photo paints a thousand truths while a photoshopped one paints a thousand lies. sometimes we are guilty of the latter.
my first camera was a manual canon where you needed to adjust the aperture for a good focus and achieve correct lighting for a great photo. today digital idiot cameras like my nikon dslr proliferate, with built in auto focus and auto everything, not much challenge, nevertheless, allows amateur photographers, even kids to achieve professional looking shots.
i was initially reluctant to share photos but when i saw some uploads i decided to peruse the collection of others which touched the photographer in me. after i got the hang of it, tweeting became more fun. my cache of photos are of nature, mostly sunsets that i watch daily by my window except on rainy days and mondays [what i call my blah day] the moon, rain, and what have you.
i'd like to share this rain photo which coincided with my 60K tweet prior my twiversary on 31 august 2011

eventually photo uploading became a weekly activity. i shared lovely sunrise and sunset photos which i took during travel related engagements. my favorites are those i captured in the desert of Tucson, AZ.
this heavenly sky photo was taken while we were in Las Vegas. as though a gate to heaven while being transported via commercial flights.
